Dec 3-6, 2012 (12hs)
Dictated by Marcela Genero at Universidad ORT Uruguay
This seminar is aimed at researchers and doctoral students who wants to know the state of the art on any topic for their research and how to validate the results of their proposals.
- Exploring mechanisms to validate Software Engineering proposals applying the experimental process steps.
- Define what a systematic reviews is and what they are for.
- Learn the steps to undertake a systematic review rigorously.
- Analyze procedures for the synthesis of primary studies.
While we focus on experimentation and conducting systematic reviews in the context of software engineering, most concepts presented are applicable to other disciplines.
